Since the beginning of this year, labor inspection agencies at all levels in Guigang City have investigated and dealt with 183 cases of wage owed to rural migrant workers, recovering 13.32 million yuan of unpaid wages for 1995 migrant workers. Conduct written materials review and implement labor employment record. The city reviewed 536 applicants for written materials and involved 55,600 workers.
Accept complaints and report and safeguard legitimate rights and interests. The city handled 679 cases of complaints from the masses, investigated and dealt with a large number of illegal behaviors such as wages owed to workers, concluded labor contracts in violation of law, illegally collecting mortgage payments, and not participating in social insurance, effectively protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. Among them, 271 cases were filed and 271 cases were closed. The closing rate was 100%.
Daily inspections to strengthen supervision of employment. The city’s labor supervision agencies have increased the day-to-day inspections of employers, urged employers to sign labor contracts with workers, participate in social insurance in accordance with the law, promptly find and correct employers’ illegal acts, and standardize enterprise employment practices. Cumulatively, 1,525 households were actively inspected, and 120 illegal activities were promptly corrected. The number of laborers involved was 101,700, and the employing unit was ordered to compensate labor contracts with 12,700 laborers.
Special inspections and rectification of illegal activities. We organized special enforcement inspection activities such as “Wage Payments for Migrant Workersâ€, “Reorganization and revamping of the human resources marketâ€, “Implementation of Labor Employment and Social Insurance Laws and Regulations by the Employerâ€, and “Enrollment of Social Insurance Fundsâ€. In 1160 units, 136 correction orders were issued, and 136 kinds of labor protection violations were corrected.
Wages are owed and maintenance is stable. Organize specific inspection activities for migrant workers' wage payment, especially for the construction of construction sites, construction labor service companies, and “two highs†(highway, high-speed railway) projects that use more migrant workers. In the special inspection activities, 61 cases of wage owed to rural migrant workers were investigated, 1,055 yuan were deducted from the owed wages for 1,055 migrant workers, which safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers and the social harmony and stability of Guigang City.
