1. Step gauge:
The physical length standard consists of a number of gauge blocks (usually white ceramic gauge blocks) arranged in a matrix at regular intervals.
2. Use:
Proofreading the laser interferometer (see 8.1), detecting the CNC machine (see 8.2), detecting the coordinate measuring machine (see 8.3) and other precision instruments. The national standard GB/T 16857-2-2006 and the international standard ISO 10360-2:2009 "coordinate measuring machine acceptance test and re-inspection test" are strongly recommended to use the step gauge as the physical length standard for detecting the coordinate measuring machine. The step gauge is also the physical length standard for the length measurement comparison of the signatory countries of the International Measurement Committee.
3. Terminology : (For the convenience of presentation, the terminology used in this article is different from the “Mechanical Industry Standard JB/T 10977-2010 Step Gaugeâ€)
3.1 Zero measuring surface - measuring surface marked with "0" mark; 3.2 reference surface - base end face closer to the zero measuring surface; 3.3 measuring line - measuring the center of the surface through the zero position and perpendicular to the reference surface Straight line; 3.4 step distance - the nominal value of the distance between the adjacent measuring blocks in the same direction; 3.5 Working size - the intersection of each measuring surface and the measuring line from the zero measuring surface center distance; 3.6 working size deviation - work Difference between size and design size; 3.7 working size limit deviation - allowable range of working size deviation; 3.8 surface parallelism - measuring area central area (centered on the center of the measuring surface, side length 4mm square) points and benchmark The difference between the maximum and minimum of the face distance; 3.9 Stability - the change in the working size relative to the last calibration. The step gauge is accidentally affected by accidental drops, impacts, collisions and clever people's artificial twisting of the block, which will cause changes in the working size. This change is difficult to find and is "intra-injury", which is enough to make the step gauge lose its original accuracy. Users need to attach great importance to and prevent the above accidents! Anyi's patent "with guardrail step gauge" can greatly reduce the adverse effects of external forces, high stability, and worth promoting.
4. Structure type:
The step gauge is divided into a research type and a non-research type according to whether there is a grinding block between the measuring blocks, and the grinding type has a high precision; and the measuring block is divided into a convex type and a concave type according to whether or not the measuring block protrudes from the base. The convex type is convenient to use, but the stability is poor; the concave type has good stability, but the use is not convenient; the Sanfeng company step gauge is a convex and convex type, which has high precision, convenient use and poor stability. KOBA company's step gauge is concave and non-research type, with good stability and shortcomings. In addition to the convex and research type and the concave and concave type (the advantages of high precision, good stability, and inconvenient use), the Anyi company has a new patent structure “with guardrail step gaugeâ€. The step gauge has high precision, good stability and convenient use, and is very popular among users.
5. High-precision step gauge:
Step gauge with small deviation of working size limit. Refer to Mitutoyo's 2010 product samples: working size 1000mm, limit deviation ±2.5μm; working size 600mm, limit deviation ±1.8μm; working size 300mm, limit deviation ±1.2μm and other step gauge. Japan's Mitutoyo's high-precision step gauge and Anyi's 1st step gauge are required to do so.
High-precision step gauges should be used for the detection of coordinate measuring machines and high-end CNC machine tools.
6. Calibration of the step gauge:
Calibration must be performed by a qualified unit certified by an authoritative metrology agency. For example, Anyi high-precision step gauge, specification 1000mm number FE31001, calibrated by China Institute of Metrology in June 2010, the whole working size deviation does not exceed ±0.6μm, the calibration result uncertainty U=(0.2+0. 5L) Mm, (k=2), (L——working size unit m); specification 1000mm number FK31001, calibrated by German DKD-K-44301 in November 2010, the whole working size deviation does not exceed ±0.46μm, the uncertainty is U = (0.10 + 0. 50L) μm, (k = 2), (L - working size unit m). Starting in 2012, the uncertainty can be upgraded to U=(0.10+0. 30L)μm, (k=2), and the linear thermal expansion coefficient of the step gauge is detected. The uncertainty U=0.05*10-6K-1.
7. Note:
Handle gently to prevent collision; do not disassemble, do not reload; regular calibration, special protection. Glove masks are important for insulation.
