From July 1st to 8th, high temperature weather with a maximum temperature of ≥35°C for more than three days occurred in the central and eastern parts of the south of the Yangtze River and the northeastern part of South China. The high temperature days in central and eastern Jiangxi, central Zhejiang, and northwestern Fujian reached 6-8 days. . Affected by sustained high temperature, the pollen activity of early rice at the heading and flowering stage decreased, which was unfavorable for pollination. The early rice in the milky stage was insufficiently filled, the filling period was shortened, and some areas experienced mild high temperature ripening.
