Sanma Grinding Abrasives Laboratory successfully passed the re-assessment and expansion review

The judges were also sent to the Director of Certification and Accreditation Office of Zhengzhou Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau, Li Ping, to supervise the review process for the observers. According to CNAS/CL01:2006 "Guidelines for the Accreditation of Testing and Calibration Laboratories", CNAS/CL10:2012 "Application Notes for the Accreditation of Testing and Calibration Laboratories in the Field of Chemical Testing", and "Guidelines for the Accreditation of Inspection and Testing Institutions" The expert review team conducted a careful review of the laboratory's continued effectiveness in management, technology, and quality system operations. The laboratory staff capacity and testing capabilities are the focus of this review. In order to verify the testing capabilities of the laboratory, the review team conducted a total of 30 samples including routine and expansion for field trials. The samples taken from the field test cover the technical parameters of the approved items such as ordinary abrasives, super-hard abrasives, fixed abrasives, super-hard abrasives, coated abrasives, raw and auxiliary materials, and mechanical parts. The on-site trials of this review arrangement involve a large scope and a large number of cases, which have never been seen before. This is a major test for the technical level, inspection capability and management level of the laboratory personnel.

After three days of intense work, the review team gave full affirmation and high evaluation to the operation and testing capabilities and level of the laboratory management system. At the same time, some imperfections in the operation of the laboratory system were also proposed. Non-conformities and observations. After the laboratory has completed the rectification measures for the non-conformities, the assessment team will recommend to the accreditation committee/accreditation commission/provincial quality supervision bureau all the accreditation projects approved by the laboratory. According to the experts of the assessment team, all the application projects (especially so many expansion projects) are recommended for approval, which is rare in the laboratory review. This shows that the laboratory is the only one in the abrasive industry in China. The comprehensive national quality inspection center has been highly recognized by the experts of the assessment team for its testing capabilities and levels. In order to adapt to the development of the market and the inspection needs of customers, the laboratory has submitted as many as 22 expansion projects in this review. These projects mainly cover the detection methods using advanced equipment and the detection of new products. The new expansion project will enable the laboratory to provide a wider range of testing technology services and build a more comprehensive testing service platform for industry-related units and customers in new product development, product quality improvement, and reliable detection of data to win users.
