Entrusted by the National Energy Administration, the China Machinery Industry Federation and the China National Petroleum Corporation’s Science and Technology Management Department recently hosted the 56†Class900 Fully Welded Ball Valve Product Appraisal Meeting for the “Localization of Key Equipment for Oil and Gas Pipelines†in Beijing. The appraisal committee agreed. The main performance indicators of the 56"Class900 all-welded ball valve products developed by Shanghai Electric Valve have met the requirements of technical conditions, test syllabus and relevant standards, filling the domestic gap and occupying the international advanced level.
The 56" Class900 pipeline ball valve developed by Shanghai Electric Valve has a pressure rating of Class 900 which exceeds the pressure rating range of API6D-24. The standard maximum pressure rating is Class600. Internationally, only Tula has produced 12MPa. The DN1400 pipeline ball valve is in service in a pilot line. Therefore, this is a super-standard range with internationally leading valve products. The first loss signed by PetroChina and Gazprom during the Russian President Putin's visit to China in May 2014. The gas pipeline contract is a gas pipeline called “Siberian Energy†with an annual gas transmission capacity of 60 billion cubic meters. It will be sent from Yakutia to Vladivostok and then sent to Heihe City in the north of Heilongjiang, China. It is sent to Beijing and delivered to Shanghai. This natural gas pipeline is called the world's largest infrastructure construction project. The pipeline diameter is NPS56 and the operating pressure is 12MPa. The successfully developed 56" Class900 all-welded pipeline ball valve will be in this Service in engineering.
