
This week (March 25-29), among the 98 major chemical products prices, prices rose by 9% (13% last week), 49% (42% last week), and 42% declines. (45% last week), the average decline in chemicals was 0.8%, and this week, chemical products fell and remained stable. The top five commodities for the increase were Xinan glyphosate, Binhua Propylene Oxide, Henry Port Natural Gas, Yima Xinyuan Dimethyl Ether, and East China Phenol. The top five decline products were butadiene in Southeast Asia, Shijiazhuang Alkaline Wet-grade Ammonium Chloride, Shanghai Huayi Acrylic Acid, East China Epichlorohydrin, and Southeast Asia Paraxylene.
In terms of price difference, the spreads of carbon black-coal tar, glyphosate-glycine, and MDI-aniline expanded by 16.7%, 6.7%, and 0.7% respectively this week.
