Zhonggong International sign 956 million U.S. thermal power construction contract

Zhonggong International announced on the 7th that the company had signed a commercial contract with the Venezuelan National Power Company of the Venezuelan Power Ministry for the Venezuela Bisia thermal power station project, with a contract value of US$956 million. The project is located in the city of Besiah, Mérida, in the west of Venezuela. The project includes the construction of a thermal power plant with a total installed capacity of 500,000 kilowatts and supporting transmission and transformation projects. The specific scope of work includes design, equipment supply, installation, commissioning and civil engineering.
