Breakthrough in research on quality control of tea safety production

The subject of “Quality Control Technology Research on Tea Safe Production”, a major project of the “Key Food Safety Technology” project of the “Eleventh Five-Year” National Science and Technology Support Program undertaken by Anhui Agricultural University, was recently accepted. The project basically established a technical system for the quality control of tea cleaning and processing, which provided a reference for comprehensively improving the tea cleaning technology and equipment level in China.

According to the briefing, the research group on “Quality Control Technology for Tea Safe Production” completed the construction of an organization that guarantees food safety, such as the “Comprehensive Laboratory for Tea Quality and Safety Testing”; it cited 9 food safety technology achievements from the “10th Five-year Plan”. Established standards for detection of pesticides and heavy metals in tea and soil, produced a number of key technologies such as rapid formaldehyde detection technology and tea traceability technology; set up a good practice specification for tea plantations, practical technical specifications for agricultural chemicals, and tea processing and production technologies Specification; formed a quality and safety control system and supervision model for tea production and fidelity traceability. The research group has now set up 10 demonstration production bases in Anhui and Zhejiang and radiated to the surrounding areas.

Recently, the acceptance expert group organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology visited the Rongshan Tea Factory in Xiuning County of Southern Fujian Province and the demonstration bases such as Chaoqing Green Tea and Huangshan Maofeng Clean Production Line and Ecological Tea Garden in Xieyu Grand Tea Industry Co., Ltd. of Huangnan City, and heard reports on the implementation of the subject organization. , review acceptance data, conduct inquiries.

The expert group believes that this project has already solved the key technical problems such as equipment connection, pollution control, and automatic control in the tea processing process, and has established and demonstrated large-scale roasted green tea and four typical green tea cleanliness production lines.
